Trusts

Additional protection for you & your family

What is a trust?

A legal trust can be a useful tool for people who want to protect their assets and ensure their wishes are carried out when they pass away. A trust is a legal arrangement where a person (trustor) transfers their assets to a trustee who manages them on behalf of the beneficiaries. It can be a powerful way to ensure your wishes are respected and your estate benefits as much value as possible.

There are several reasons you may wish to consider using a trust, including asset protection from creditors or legal claims, minimising the complexity of probate, and tax benefits for your beneficiaries.

To ensure a trust is properly executed, it is important to work with an estate planning professional who can navigate the legal complexity.
